Limited Lifetime Warranty
At Freedom Lighting Supply, we stand behind the quality and durability of every product we build. That’s why we proudly offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on our lighting products, subject to the conditions outlined below.
Warranty Coverage
Lighting Products
All Freedom Lighting Supply lighting kits and lighting components are covered under a Limited Lifetime Warranty for as long as the original purchaser owns the product.
Control Boxes
All control boxes included with our products are covered under a three (3) year warranty.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If a covered product fails due to a manufacturing defect within the applicable warranty period, Freedom Lighting Supply will repair or replace the product at our discretion at no cost to the customer.
Important Warranty Conditions
Wiring & Electrical Modifications
-
Any cutting, splicing, extending, or altering of wiring harnesses provided by Freedom Lighting Supply immediately voids all warranty coverage.
Original Purchaser Only
-
Warranty coverage is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Improper Installation & Bracket Modification
Mounting brackets included with Freedom Lighting Supply products are designed to allow limited, one-time adjustment only to accommodate vehicle-specific fitment.
-
Excessive bending, repeated bending, forceful manipulation, or modification of mounting brackets—including attempts to bend brackets around brake calipers, rotors, or dust shields—constitutes improper installation and misuse.
-
Damage caused by metal fatigue, deformation, cracking, or breakage resulting from improper installation or excessive force is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered under warranty.
-
Installer error, improper fitment, or failure to follow recommended installation practices voids warranty coverage for affected components.
-
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval. Evidence of misuse or improper installation may result in denial of coverage.
Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Road Use, Wear & Off-Road Damage (Wheel Lights)
Freedom Lighting Supply wheel light products are designed for normal on-road driving conditions and show-style use. While our wheel lights are constructed with durable materials and weather-resistant sealing, they are not indestructible and are not intended to withstand excessive road abuse or off-road use.
Damage resulting from road debris, impacts, scraping, rubbing, improper clearance, or off-road conditions—including but not limited to rocks, mud, gravel, water crossings, or trail use—is considered normal wear and tear or misuse and is not covered under warranty.
This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Damage to the silicone seal or protective housing
-
Water intrusion caused by compromised seals
-
LED strip failure resulting from physical damage or environmental exposure
-
Failure caused by scraping, striking objects, excessive vibration, or contact with road hazards
Once the silicone seal or housing is compromised due to external forces, water intrusion may occur, which can lead to LED failure. This type of damage is not a manufacturing defect and is not the responsibility of Freedom Lighting Supply.
Wheel lights are intended to enhance the appearance and visibility of your vehicle during normal street driving and display use. They are not intended for aggressive off-road driving, severe terrain, or environments that subject the product to abnormal impact or abrasion. Use in such conditions is done at the customer’s own risk.
General Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or improper installation
-
Damage caused by environmental exposure beyond intended use
-
Cosmetic damage that does not affect product functionality
-
Labor costs, removal, reinstallation, or incidental expenses
Freedom Lighting Supply reserves the right to deny warranty claims that do not meet the conditions outlined above.
